Biografía.

Doctora en Lenguajes y Sistemas Informáticos e Ingeniería de Software por la  Facultad de Informática de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, con mención de “Doctorado Europeo”. Realizó una Estancia posdoctoral en la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Tiene una Maestría en Ciencias de la computación y una licenciatura en informática por el Instituto Tecnológico de Orizaba.

Actualmente es investigadora titular A del CIMAT- Unidad Zacatecas en el área de Ingeniería de Software, tiene el reconocimiento por Sistema Nacional de Investigadores de Investigador Nivel II.

Es miembro del grupo de investigación de Ingeniería de Software del CIMAT, de la red temática Red de Optimización de Mejora de Procesos (ROPRIM), de la red de mejora de procesos, así mismo, participa en el Grupo 24 del ISO/IEC JTC1 SC7 Software and System Engineering, miembro de la Academia Mexicana de Computación, la Sociedad Mexicana de Ciencias de la Computación y la Red Mexicana de Ingeniería de Software.

Ha participado en la traducción oficial del libro CMMI-DEV v1.2 y 1.3, así como al perfil entrada ISO/IEC 29110. Más recientemente ha participado en el desarrollo de guía para implementación del estándar ISO/IEC 29110 en entornos ágiles.

Pertenece al comité científicos de congresos internacionales relevantes en su área. Además de ser invitada como evaluadora de artículos de revistas indexadas y con factor de impacto.

Es vicepresidenta del Congreso Internacional en Mejora de Procesos de Software (CIMPS), donde además participa activamente como chair en el Taller Robot Competition.

En el congreso EUROSPI participa también como chair en el Taller team Skills and Diversity.

Autora del libro Metodología Multi-modelo para Implementar Mejoras de Procesos Software.

Ha publicado diversos artículos técnicos en journals, capítulos Spriger e IGI global, así como en congresos  nacional e internacionales de alto impacto en su área. Áreas de interés son: Definición y mejora de procesos, factor humano, gestión del cambio, entornos multimodelo, DevOps, Calidad de software, integración de equipos, implementación de modelos y estándares de calidad, métodos ágiles, gamificación y juegos serios.
