Recibí el título en Licenciado en Ingeniería en Informática por la Universidad Politécnica de Sinaloa, Mazatlán, Sinaloa, México, en 2009, el título en Maestro en Ciencias de la Información por la Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa, Culiacán, Sinaloa, México, en 2013 y el Doctorado en Ciencias de la Computación por la Universidad de Sheffield en Sheffield, Reino Unido, en 2019.

Actualmente, me encuentro laborando como profesor en el ITESM campus Monterrey. He trabajado en las áreas de soporte técnico, desarrollo web y sistemas embebidos.

Mi principal interés es en el análisis de algoritmos evolutivos y mecanismos para la preservación de la diversidad. Específicamente en el análisis de algoritmos aleatorios como algoritmos evolutivos para resolver problemas multimodales, multiobjetivo, combinatorios y para el soporte a la decisión.
